Botox® Facial Contouring and Lifting Botox® is the top non-surgical procedure performed in the United States and has one of the most outstanding safety records. Botox® reduces lines and wrinkles by reducing the dynamic motion of the muscle. Facial lines are softened and smoothed giving a rested, more youthful appearance to the face. Botox® can also be used to lift and provide definition to the eyebrows. Each patient is individually assessed for dominant muscle groups in the face and a plan is made to soften the facial appearance without interfering with function. Our goal is to lift and soften and this is accomplished by understanding and respecting the function of every muscle. Each individual is evaluated for strength and symmetry in the following areas: Glabella or “worry” lines (the creases between the eyebrows), nasolabial or “smile lines” (line from the nasal corner to the corner of the outer lip) , forehead lines, crows feet, and marionette lines (lines extending downward from the corners of the mouth).
Patients are also carefully evaluated to determine if they are possible candidates for the specialized use of Botox® in the lower face and the neck. Muscle size and strength determine the dosage of
Botox® and is unique in each individual. Botox® is priced by the unit and the dosage determined for
you is documented to create a personalized unit record. This creates a precise treatment history ensuring injection consistency while helping patients stay within budget constraints.

DERMAL FILLERS RESTORING AND SOFTENING
Hyaluronic Acid (Restylane®, Juvederm™, Perlane®) Hyaluronic Acid is a dermal filler derived from a product naturally produced by the body.
Cosmoplast® is a collagen filler used for plumping skin structure and can also be recommended in certain circumstances.
Radiesse® is a derivative of calcium hydoxite and can be the filler of choice in selected areas.
Dermal fillers are an innovative new way to treat the laxity and the effects of gravity and age on the face. The filler is injected just below the skin’s surface in the dermal layer. Wrinkles and creases are lifted, and the overall appearance is softened giving a more rested look. Some swelling and bruising may occur and generally resolves in 3 to 5 days. There is minimal down time with remarkable results that can remove years from your appearance. This filler is also used to replace lost volume in lips and to redefine the lip border.
The combination of Botox® and a filler can provide dramatic results. A consultation appointment is suggested to define your specific needs.
IPL™ Laser Therapy
Laser Therapy Correction of Red and Brown Damage/ Smoothing Skin Texture
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) laser therapy is an integral part of a comprehensive plan to correct damaged skin. Our Lumenis One™ laser has multiple uses including treating tiny red facial vessels and brown spots (hyperpigmentation), and exfoliating upper layers of damaged tissue allowing regeneration to provide a restored appearance. Correcting the underlying canvas of your face will enhance the results of Botox® and filler injections. By removing the brown and red spots, the results of age and sun exposure, the natural beauty of clear, healthy skin glows, and you can go makeup-free with confidence.
Photodynamic Therapy with Levulan
One of the latest advancements in the treatment of extremely sun damaged skin is the application of Levulan® followed by laser IPL™ light treatment. This procedure treats aging skin by reducing brown spots, eliminating small red vessels, shrinking pore size and fine lines, and stimulating collagen. The treatment is also extremely effective for treating acne vulgaris, rosacea, and some pre-cancerous lesions. It is a safe and effective alternative to Accutane or oral antibiotic therapy. The Levulan® is applied to the skin, allowed to incubate, and is then activated by the IPL™ treatment. The treatment is remarkably effective and does require recovery time. A series of three treatments is recommended for the best results.
IPL™ Body treatments
IPL is also recommended for the chest area to treat the hyperpigmentation, broken capillaries, and uneven skin tone associated with sun damage. This corrective therapy can then be maintained with the consistent home care and the regular use of sun screen.
Micropeels - Stimulating and Exfoliating Skin Care
Micropeels are therapeutic treatments that combine a gentle physical exfoliation technique with the application of an exfoliating acid that is specifically chosen for your skin type and individual needs. Our medical aestheticians will provide you with customized skin care that addresses your immediate needs and a long term plan for keeping skin soft, clear and healthy. The suggested routine of repeating these treatments every 4 to 8 weeks allows for maximum improvement and gives us the opportunity to evaluate progress and make needed changes in your home care techniques. Glycolic, salicylic, lactic and retinoic acids will be used based on your individual needs, and your aesthetician will educate you regarding the application and why that specific acid is the best choice for you. Dermafile and specialized laser applications are suggested when necessary. Our goal is to educate you, and by involving you in the process, you can become your best skin care analyst.
