Obagi products are part of a skin care program that corrects problems on a deep cellular level. This line is best suited for patients with pigmentation that is associated with hormones or heavily sun damaged skin. The combination of Retin-A and hyrdroquinone increase cellular turnover and lighten and remove pigment. Texture is dramatically improved and troubled acne-prone skin is calmed. ‘Nail It’ is Skin Savvy’s own vitamin supplement that is tailored to support the complex needs of the skin. It is of particular beneficial to weak and thin nails promoting thicker and more rapid nail growth. ‘Nail It’ contains Alpha Lipoiec Acid that is both water and oil soluble making it easy for the body to absorb. The formula contains high levels of Idebedenone, a powerful antioxidant is more bio available that CO-Q10. High levels of Vitamin B and trace minerals work together to support nail growth, skin structure and enhance low energy levels that are the result of stress and inconsistency in diet. ‘Nail It can be taken with your daily multivitamin.

Alyria is a skin care line that is formulated with proven ingredients in effective percentages and state of the art technology, including patented delivery systems, to improve skin tone and texture. Skin Medica is a dermatology-focused pharmaceutical company with products devoted to rejuvenation, nourishment and prevention of age-related collagen loss. The active ingredient Nouicel-MD contains human growth factors that have been clinically proven to improve the firmness and appearance of the skin. Skin Medica’s signature product is TNS and is widely recognized for its therapeutic value.

LaRoche Posay is manufactured in France and uses pure mineral water as the basis of many of its products. We frequently select this product line for those with extremely sensitive or fair skin. This European-based line has several signature products and one of our favorites is the Effaclar salycylic treatment program for acneic skin.

Vivite is a complete skin care program that incorporates glycolic acid and antioxidants in each product. This is a pharmaceutical grade glycolic program that accelerates cellular exfoliation and is best for treating aging and sun damaged skin.

Prevage MD contains idebedinone with the pharmaceutical strength of 1% that protects skin from free-radical damage and corrects damage from environmental stress. This product is used alone or in combination with other products to provide therapeutic correction of sun damaged or neglected skin.

Our Sunscreen Lines
Sunscreen is at the forefront of our mission to protect and rejuvenate skin. Since each person’s skin condition and lifestyle is unique, we carry a variety of sunscreens. We highly recommend that our patients apply sunscreen daily, and we carefully select the right sunscreen for each patient on an individual basis.

Anthelios (SPF 15, 30, 60) is the only FDA approved sunscreen for UVA protection and is available in regular or water resistant cream.

Celazome (SPF 29 or 30) is a broad spectrum sunscreen that is long-lasting and moisturizing. It is tolerated by many who are sensitive to other sunscreens with the same SPF level.

Clear Choice (SPF 45) is a zinc-based SPF 45 that is one of our favorites because it actually provides the physical block of zinc without leaving a silvery white cast to the skin.

Obagi Skin Protection (SPF 30) is popular and a favorite of many of our patients.
